Athletes must complete registration before the deadline.

Single-bracket competitors must choose one of the following options:


Option 1
Receive the 1st place medal
This is the default choice if no response is received.


Option 2
Move to a different division (if eligible).

Brackets & Schedule

Categorization by Skill Level

According to the AIGA rules, the competition format provides for the division of athletes into divisions based on skill level:


  • Beginners
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced


Beginner Athletes – Athletes with less than (approximately) 2 years of experience in grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Sambo, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, or other types of wrestling.


In competitions held for beginner athletes, the following individuals are not allowed to participate:


  • Holders of Jiu Jitsu colored belts
  • Champions of tournaments in Wrestling Martial Arts, MMA, Pankration, Combat Sambo, and Hand-to-Hand Combat


If an athlete is found to be registered in a category that does not correspond to his level, he will be disqualified from the competition.


Intermediate Athletes – Athletes who have experience in grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (children: gray and yellow belts, adults: blue and purple belts), Judo, Sambo, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, and other types of wrestling from 2 to 5 years.


Advanced Athletes – Athletes who have more than 5 years of experience in grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (children: orange and green belts, adults: brown and black), Judo, Sambo, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, and other types of wrestling.

 All participants of AIGA grappling competitions are obliged to:


  • Strictly comply with the rules (current competition rules are available on the official website https://aigaglobal.com/) and the requirements of the competition regulations.


  • Fulfill the requirements of the judges.


  • Be correct towards all participants of the competition: judges, organizers, opponents, and spectators.


  • Adhere to the rules of sport and fair competition.


  • A participant of the tournament must not under any circumstances deliberately cause harm to the opponent's health.


  • Be tidy, have clean sports equipment for competitions, and perform with short-cut nails on hands and feet.

Coaches

 Only one coach is allowed in the competition area with an athlete.

During the bout, the coach may advise and assist their athlete within the designated competition area.

Coaches must be dressed appropriately in a tracksuit or official uniform.


  • Athletes in shorts and a rashguard are not permitted to coach from the competition floor.


  • A special dress code may be enforced depending on the tournament regulations.


If a coach displays inappropriate behavior towards referees, organizers, athletes, spectators, or others, the referee has the right to remove them from the officials' area for the remainder of the match.

The organizer or host also reserves the right to deny access to any undesirable persons in the competition area.

Spectators

 Spectator Tickets: $20 | Available At The Door 

Refund Policy

 Registration fees are non-refundable. Competitors who are unable to participate for any reason may request credit for a future tournament up until the Sunday before the event. After this deadline, credits will only be granted if a suitable match cannot be arranged. 

Weigh-In

 During the weigh-in ceremony, the participant has the right to stand on the scales only once.

  • For athletes of age categories "4-5", "6-7", "8-9" and "10-11", an overweight of up to 1 lb. is allowed.


  • For athletes of age categories "12-13" and "14-15", an overweight of up to 0.5 lb. is allowed.


  • For athletes of age category "16-17" and above, overweight is not allowed.


In case of failure to enter the declared weight category, the athlete will be transferred to the category corresponding to their weight. This transfer will be penalized by a fine of 50% of the registration fee.


|Weigh-in requirements:

  • Competitors must weigh in wearing shorts and a T-shirt/rashguard.


  • Teams must arrive at the weigh-in ceremony in full, together with a coach or representative, and weigh in at their allocated time.


  • The participant must have their passport or another identification document with them.


  • Athletes must follow the competition's individual dress code rules. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the tournament.


  • Athletes wearing shorts, a rashguard/T-shirt (no bare torso), and tights that cover the thighs and knees will be allowed to compete.

Uniform Requirements

 Athletes must follow the competition rules regarding individual uniform requirements. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the tournament.


Allowed Uniform:

  • Top: Athletes must wear a tight-fitting T-shirt or rashguard that covers the torso. The length of the T-shirt must reach the shorts.


Shorts:

  • Must be at least mid-thigh length (not more than 10 cm above the knee).


  • Must not extend below the knees.


  • Pockets are allowed, but they must be sewn shut and must not have buttons, fastenings, ties, plastic, or metal zippers.


  • Tights: Competitors may wear tight-fitting elastic tights that extend below the knees.


  • No bare torsos—all athletes must wear a rashguard or T-shirt along with their shorts or tights.


Prohibited Items:

  • Shoes.


  • Headgear.


  • Hairpins, jewelry, or any accessories.


  • Genital protective equipment (shells).


  • Any protective gear made of hard materials that may cause injury to the opponent or the competitor.

Absolute Divisions

 There is one women's and one men's absolute division - open to all ranks, weights, and above at 18.

Absolute divisions will all be single elimination.
